CMRT 5.11 is the most recent version of the template and it was released in 27th April 2018. It replaces CMRT 5.10.
The Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) is a free industry standard template created by the Responsible Minerals Initiative -RMI to help companies provide accurate information about the country of origin and details of the smelters they use to source 3TG minerals (Tantalum, Tungsten, Tin, Gold). CMRT helps the companies to collect data as part of their due diligence surrounding a reasonable country of origin inquiry (RCOI) for SEC Reporting.
The major changes to the updated version of the CMRT 5.11 are:
- The correction of bugs and errors.
- Enhancements that do not conflict with IPC 1755.
- Updates to the ISO short names for countries, states, and provinces.
- Regular maintenance updates to the smelter lists.
- Name changes to reflect the organization’s re-brand.
Along with this, the smelter list with details has also been updated.Click here to download the CMRT from Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) website.
CMRT forms are revised twice in a year by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) organization. This is the 19th version of CMRT and the first update of CMRT 5.10, which was released in December 2017. The next CMRT version is expected during November 2018.
