The multiyear contract is designed for the client’s compliance with the CMRT regulation, towards procuring 3TG materials involved in the production.
The client is one of the largest manufacturers of automotive parts for major automobile manufacturers worldwide. The client has a wide array of materials sourced from suppliers across the globe, most importantly the materials such as Tin, Tungsten, Tantalum, and Gold (3TG) for the components manufacturing.
The major challenge for the client arrived was whether the material sourced is from an approved smelter as per the RMI list, and the country of origin is as per the CMRT developed by RMI.The efforts of having a holistic team to source collect and validate compliance data from suppliers across regions and time zones was becoming a hurdle each day.
